Děkujeme za váš zájem!

"My husband met kind souls along his path who supported him at the start of his career, and he wanted to pass on that kindness — with this fund, we are continuing that tradition. Working with young people always brought him joy and fulfillment."

— Anna Fejérová

The Jiří Bělohlávek Prize

was established in 2019 to award young Czech artists under
the age of thirty for achieving exceptional success in their
field. The prize also seeks to recognize those artists who
preserve the tradition of Czech music both at home and
abroad.

The winning laureate is selected by a seven-member
committee made up of representatives of institutions with
which Jiří Bělohlávek was professionally associated. The
recipient receives a financial prize of 50 000 CZK, which is
completely funded by the Jiří Bělohlávek Donor-Advised Fund
within the Czech Philharmonic Foundation since 2025.
